Superior Choice Credit Union is your friendly local credit union, here to meet your financial needs. We started with 26 members and less than $100 in a grocery store in Superior, Wisconsin 90 years ago, and have since grown to 30,000 members and 13 branches across Wisconsin and Minnesota. Rated #1 in customer service, we pride ourselves on being a friend and a partner to both our members and the communities we serve.
Our History
1932
Co-op Credit Union is established inside the local grocery store with 26 members and less than $100
1969
Invested in our own building to serve 5,100 members and $3.5M in assets
1996-1998
Merged with both Chequamegon Credit Union and Marathon-Ashland Credit Union
2007
Changed our name from Superior Community Credit Union to Superior Choice Credit Union
2018
Acquired Dairyland State Bank - Pictured is our current Gilman, WI branch!
2023
Merged with Hayward Community Credit Union and opened branches in Eau Claire and Rice Lake
Now
SCCU has 12 branches across Minnesota & Wisconsin to serve 37k members
